On the 4th of July, me and Kazuki had our half year anniversary! You may think it's kind of silly to make such a big deal out of only six months but HEY, we might not be able to celebrate our one year anniverssary together so we have to make the most out of every moment we get!
We were just going to have dinner together. We didn't have much time for anything else since he was busy with work and I'd been travelling with Charlotte. Charlotte was incredibly nice though, to let us have this one night together and I'm super grateful to her for that!
We were pretty late to the restaurant Kazuki had made reservations at because he'd been held up at work and when on top of that we couldn't find the place, I'd almost suggested we just go somewhere else. Luckily I didn't though because more planning had gone into this night than I had thought.
It was a restaurant at the top of a big building and it had a beautiful view, so I really loved it! The food was really good too! We had a great time hanging out with just the two of us and then, all of a sudden the waitress came out with a cake that said 'happy 3rd year anniversary'! Maybe we really do look like we've been together for three years haha! We just laughted and took the mistake as a compliment!
I was so surprised at the cake! I had actually wanted to order dessert before and the waitress, had come back and whispered something to Kazuki and then said that actually the courses were really big and that she advised us not to get dessert. I can't believe I didn't see through that! Haha! I guess I really am an airhead!
So not only did Kazuki surprise me with cake (which is obviously the way to my heart), but he also handed me some presents then.
All of these are things that I specifically remember kind of wanting and the fact that he went out and made all this effort for me, even though he's really busy, just blew my mind a little. No one has ever done anything like this for me before. And this is definitely not some requirement or anything, but the whole thing brought me to tears of extreme happiness and even now, thinking back to it I'm kind of getting emotional again, haha, typical!
So thank you Kazuki, for giving me the best night ever! You didn't have to, but I'm so so so so happy and thankful that you did! ♥
