In with the new!!

Yesterday was the start of my second semester here at school. For the Japanese people it was the start of a new school year. I received my grades of last semester as well, which were all pretty good (if only I could achieve these grades back home ><'' ).

Japanese A: 良 (70-79%)
Japanese B: 良 (70-79%)
Learning Kansai class: 秀 (90-100%)
Japanese Arts: 良 (70-79%)
Naginata (Martial Arts): 秀 (90-100%)

Februari and March have been really fun for me, as there was no school. My family visited, I went to Tokyo Disneyland, I went on a three day trip to Ishikawa, along with some smaller trips here and there. I had plans to go to both Korea and Taiwan but those ended up falling through due to bad planning and not wanting to spend all that money. However I will be going to Korea this July and hopefully Taiwan will follow somewhere in the near future as well! I've been working on my bachelor paper for my school back home as well, which, when I have more of an idea what the heck I'm doing, I might write a blog post about.

Aside from all that, I've had to say goodbye to a lot of close friends the last two months and I've had to say hello to some new friends. As painful as it is to think about, new people have moved into the dorm where our old friends used to live. I'll admit it was really difficult for me the first few days but I've grown used to the change now and I've made new friends; so all is good! Besides, our dorm was depressingly empty in March, with everyone either returned home or travelling around Asia. I'm happy to see our common room filled with more than just me, Faraz and Jenni, haha! I feel like, in March, all we did was go to the gym and sit in the common room marathonning TV shows!

Oh and lastly, I want to quickly mention that the reason I haven't been updating is because I didn't have internet for a small month. Something was wrong with the internet one day, and in the hopes of fixing it I accidentally made it worse! But I managed to get things straightened out with the help of my good friend, so we're good now! ^^

I got a lot more to write about hahaha!
